Prof. Sardinha

Professor Wesclay Sardinha began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in New York City in 2005. He began competing a few weeks in an never looked back.  Since then he has gone on to win various titles all over the United States and continues to be an avid competitor.

He began teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu when he was awarded his Blue Belt and loved it so much he went on to teach at many academies in the NYC. When he moved to Phoenix, AZ he knew that he would continue competing as well as teaching BJJ.

Prof. Wesclay was awarded his Black Belt, in 2015, while living and training in New York City under Black Belt Professor Fabricio Medici and 9th Degree Red Belt, Master Francisco Mansor. He then received his First Degree on his Black Belt after moving to Phoenix and training under Professor Wellington Leal Dias "Megaton" for many years.

Prof. Wesclay continues to train at Megaton HQ daily as well as compete around the country. He keeps current on IBJJF rules so that he may pass on that information to his students. His love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is clear to everyone around him.
Prof. Bruno de Franca is a wonderful addition to our team as well as our staff. He began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in 2009 with Team Renzo Gracie in New York City.
Once he received his Purple belt, he began teaching beginners class and then on to kids classes. In 2017 he moved to Phoenix, Arizona and began training with Team Megaton. He received his Black Belt in 2021 from Prof. Wesclay Sardinha and Master Megaton.
Prof. Bruno makes each class fun and interesting and shares his enthusiasm for the sport with each and every student. Our kids class could not have a better Instructor to help them begin their journey into Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
