He began teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu when he was awarded his Blue Belt and loved it so much, he went on to teach at many academies in the NYC. When he moved to Phoenix, AZ he knew that he would continue competing as well as teaching BJJ.
Prof. Wesclay was awarded his Black Belt, in 2015, while living and training in New York City under Black Belt Professor Fabricio Medici and 9th Degree Red Belt, Master Francisco Mansor. He then received his First Degree on his Black Belt after moving to Phoenix and training under Professor Wellington Leal Dias "Megaton" for many years.
Prof. Wesclay continues to train at Megaton HQ daily as well as compete around the country. He keeps current on IBJJF rules so that he may pass on that information to his students. His love of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is clear to everyone around him.
Coach Erick Jarquin has been training for 6 years. He is a Certified Personal Trainer, Pain Free Performance Specialist and is currently an undergraduate for Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Performance and Health and Fitness.
Coach Erick’s first experience as a Coach was getting soldiers ready for battle in the United States Army. He got them faster, stronger, and more equipped to serve.
If it was not for Wesclay Sardinha reigniting that passion in Coach Erick, he would have not been where he is today. Everything Coach Erick is about is serving his brothers and sisters and helping them achieve their goals.
